Our Team
Dr. Chase Kohne
Dr. Chase Kohne graduated from Michigan State University in 2002 and completed additional training in surgery at Washinton State University. Formerly an equine veterinarian he practiced in South Carolina, New Mexico and Utah prior to settling in Colorado and focusing on small animals in 2013. He is also a lieutenant colonel in the US Army with over 17 years of service having served our country in Afghanistan, South Korea, the Philippines and Kuwait. He lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife Jenica and his 4 children, 2 dogs and 3 cats.
Renee Thomas, RVT
Renee is a Colorado native who has been a veterinary technician for 20 years. She enjoys sports, the outdoors, and traveling with her husband, two kids, and two dogs.
Emily Herrara, RVT
With 17 years of experience as a veterinary technician, I’ve dedicated my career to caring for animals and supporting their health and well-being. My passion for veterinary medicine is matched only by my love for the great outdoors. Whether hiking through scenic trails or exploring nature with my family, I cherish every moment spent outside. Together with my husband, our two kids, and our playful dog, Pickles, we enjoy creating lasting memories as we embark on adventures and appreciate the beauty of nature. Balancing my professional life with family time brings joy and fulfillment to my everyday life.
Alex Bryant, RVT
Alex is a Colorado native with over a decade of experience working as a veterinary technician. At home, he shares his life with four dogs who keep things lively. Outside of work, Alex can usually be found at the gym, playing video games, or keeping up with sports. He enjoys staying active, learning new things and bringing the same focus and energy into everything he does.
Emily Meyer, RVT
Emily is a registered veterinary technician who graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in 2020 and has experience working in small animal practice. She is passionate about animal care and brings a calm, dedicated approach to her work.
Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys crocheting, playing video games, and disc golf, and she shares her home with three Australian cattle dogs and a turtle.
Kylie Muse, Vet Assistant
My name is Kylie! I was born and raised in Colorado. I have been in the animal care field for 10 years, including one year as a vet assistant. I love all kinds of animals. In my household, I have two cats, Spooky and Sansa, and my dog, Odeza! My hobbies are building Lego and playing video games! May the force be with you.
